One of my favorite books of 2023. This is book number one in the Knockemout Series. We are following Naomi who ran away from her life, her home and her fiancé to rescue her estranged twin sister. Naomi ends up being left to care for her niece, that she didn’t even know she had, in a town where she knows no one and has no job. Enter Knox the bar owner and town grump. He hates drama and that’s what he sees written all over Naomi’s face, but he decides to help her out until she gets back on her feet, and nothing more.
